CROSIEC chairman tasks electoral officers on political neutrality

Dr. Ekong Boco, chairman of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC), has instructed newly recruited electoral, assistant electoral, and store officers to maintain political neutrality and professionalism. During a training workshop in Calabar, Boco compared the role of these officials to that of judges, urging them to avoid identifying with any political parties or groups.

State officials, including the Secretary to State Government, Professor Anthony Owan-Enoh, and the Head of Service, Mr. Orok Okon, also addressed the recruits. They emphasized the importance of integrity and adherence to civil service rules to ensure effective service delivery and impartial duty discharge.
