The Inter‑Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Cross River State, Nigeria, launched a final grassroots mobilisation to urge eligible residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) before the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) window closes. IPAC chairman Engr. Effiom Edet Okon said the council had worked with INEC, civil‑society groups, youth and women organisations, traditional rulers, religious leaders and market associations across all 18 local government areas.

Okon emphasized the aim of registering at least 2.5 million voters for the 2027 general elections, stating, “No voter’s card, no voice. No registration, no participation.” He warned that without a PVC, citizens would lack a voice in determining the state’s political future.
