Crossout launches New Horizon season with new weapons and modes
Gaijin Entertainment has launched the ‘New Horizon’ season for the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout. The update introduces a new narrative conflict where factions including the Engineers, Steppenwolfs, and Scavengers must unite against Aris and the Ravagers.
Key gameplay additions include new vehicle parts and weaponry. Notable items include the MVP Flagship, a massive air cushion system capable of moving armored vehicles at speeds up to 70 km/h, and the Smasher, a cannon that fires large projectiles modeled after naval guns. Other new equipment includes the ATGM Cornet laser-guided missile launcher and the MPR-8 Slice radar.
The season also features experimental PvP modes, such as ‘No Signal,’ which removes player names and minimap markers to increase combat difficulty and reliance on visual identification.
