Crossover Trio Plays 'Oltre lo Schermo' at Voxonus Festival in Albissola

On Tuesday, 4 August at 21:15, the Crossover Trio performed the concert “Oltre lo Schermo” in the gardens of Villa Faraggiana in Albissola Marina, as part of the Voxonus Festival’s itinerant series.

The program presented film‑score music ranging from Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Hans Zimmer to Nino Rota, including pieces such as “La mia Africa”, “The Mission”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Il Postino”, “Schindler’s List” and works by Sergio Leone. The trio – violist Claudio Gilio, accordionist Alberto Fantino and guitarist Maurizio Baudino – delivered a chamber‑style interpretation of the scores.

The free concert was organized with support from the Italian Ministry of Culture, the municipality of Albissola Marina, the Fondazione De Mari and the Liguria Region.
