Crotone healthcare officials aim to reduce external medical spending
Antonio Graziano, the Director General of the Asp in Crotone, has outlined a strategy to enhance local healthcare services by reducing passive health mobility. The goal is to decrease the amount of money spent on medical services performed outside the province by improving the local hospital's attractiveness.
Graziano intends to reinvest funds saved from external medical expenses into upgrading local technology, expanding specialist offerings, and improving medical training. He noted that services such as hemodynamics have already begun to attract patients from outside the immediate area, and he aims to expand this trend to other medical sectors to ensure more resources remain within the local healthcare system.
