Crotone hosts journalism review and prepares for upcoming cultural festival

The city of Crotone has hosted several cultural and intellectual gatherings. The fourth edition of the Imboscata dal Mare journalism review recently concluded at the Arena del Teatro Scaramuzza. Hosted by Federico Casanova, the event featured prominent figures such as Piercamillo Davigo, a magistrate from the Mani Pulite pool, who discussed the Italian justice system and prison structures. Additionally, Peter Gomez, director of Il Fatto Quotidiano, spoke regarding the challenges of investigative journalism in the digital age.

Looking ahead, Crotone is preparing for the fourth edition of the Festival della Restanza ‘Ruggine & Oro’, organized by #IoResto. Scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2026, the festival will expand to a two-day format. The first day will focus on storytelling through cinema and theater, while the second day will facilitate dialogue between culture, research, business, and innovation to explore future possibilities for the territory.
