Crotone municipality launches foster‑care registry and toponymy commission call

The municipality of Crotone published a public notice inviting couples, families and single adults to apply for inclusion in the Albo delle Famiglie Affidatarie e Solidali. The registry aims to expand the network of foster and solidarity families that can temporarily host minors facing temporary difficulties, with applications overseen by the Centro Affidi of the Ambito Sociale.

In a separate notice, Crotone announced a call for expressions of interest to appoint three external members of the municipal Commissione Toponomastica. The commission advises on naming or renaming streets, schools, sports facilities and other public places, and seeks candidates with expertise in history, architecture, linguistics, law or related fields. Applications are due by 19 August 2026.
