Italian police appoints dozens of new commissioners to regional questure

On 24 June 2026 the Italian State Police announced the assignment of new commissari to several provincial questure. Four commissioners (Julia Marino, Angela Pantaleo, Federica Noce, Giovanni Iovine) joined the Crotone office, while two were assigned to Reggio Emilia (Chiara Cardinali, Daniele Emmanuel Marchese) and six to Reggio Calabria (Chiara Paludetti, Nives Ingemi, Giuseppe Leone, Teresa Migliorini, Vincenzo Carnà, Delia Latella). Similar appointments were made in Agrigento (six officials), Bergamo (three), Vicenza (Giorgia Di Poppo, Ileana Bertasini), Arezzo (Sofia Vettese), Monza and Brianza (Fabrizio Calia, Federica Isernia), and Vibo Valentia (Domenico Carchedi, Giulia Turrisi). All the officers completed the 114th Commissari training course at the Scuola Superiore di Polizia in Rome and hold second‑level master’s degrees in public security management from LUISS. Their assignments, typically a twelve‑month operational internship, are intended to reinforce staffing and enhance the capacity of the police in their respective territories.
