CrowdStrike expands Falcon platform with new AI agent security tools

CrowdStrike has announced several major expansions to its Falcon platform, focusing heavily on the integration of artificial intelligence and agentic security. During the Fal.Con 2026 conference in Las Vegas, the company introduced the CrowdStrike Agentic Identity Provider (Agentic IdP). This tool is designed to establish and manage identities for autonomous AI agents, addressing a security gap where traditional service accounts and API keys fail to meet the needs of software capable of taking independent actions.

Additionally, the company rebranded Falcon AIDR to Falcon Guardian, which includes new capabilities for shadow AI discovery and access control. CrowdStrike is also leveraging NVIDIA technology through its Cyber Superintelligence Lab to develop SafeMind, an automated attack-defense system for red teaming. This initiative utilizes NVIDIA Nemotron models to orchestrate detection rules and security responses.

Further developments include Falcon IQ, which integrates NVIDIA Nemotron models into the QuiltWorks project to automate the validation, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities using models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
