CrowdStrike has announced plans to acquire two AI security startups, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, for a reported combined total of approximately $495 million. The deals, announced during the Fal.Con Europe 2026 conference in Barcelona, aim to bolster the company's ability to monitor, explain, and stress-test autonomous AI agents.

Fiddler AI, a Palo Alto based company founded in 2018, focuses on observability and explainability. Its technology is expected to be integrated into the Falcon platform as Falcon Observe, with general availability targeted for Q4 FY27. Dreadnode, founded in 2023, specializes in pre-deployment security testing using frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST. The Dreadnode acquisition is valued at approximately $95 million.

Alongside these acquisitions, CrowdStrike introduced the AI Kill Switch within its Falcon Guardian platform. This feature allows security administrators to terminate misbehaving AI agents, prevent them from relaunching, and revoke their enterprise network access. While currently available at the AI Gateway level, the company plans to extend direct process termination to endpoints in the future.
