Crown Prince Christian attends first state banquet in Denmark

Crown Prince Christian of Denmark participated in his first state banquet on Monday evening at Christiansborg Palace. The event was held to welcome Vietnamese President Tô Lâm and First Lady Ngô Phương Ly, who are currently on a three-day state visit to Denmark.

During the ceremony, the 21-year-old Crown Prince joined the greeting line alongside King Frederik, Queen Mary, and the Vietnamese presidential couple. He wore the red gala uniform of the Royal Life Guards, a role he currently holds as a platoon commander.

In addition to his ceremonial appearance, the Crown Prince received the Grand Commander’s Cross of the Order of the Dannebrog from his father. He is one of only seven individuals to hold this distinction within the Danish royal circles.
