Crown Prince Christian discusses royal influences in new interview

Crown Prince Christian has discussed his approach to his royal role in a video interview with musician Benjamin Hav. In the conversation, which was released on Hav’s YouTube channel to mark the Prince’s 21st birthday, the Crown Prince explained that he seeks to reflect the actions of his father, King Frederik, and his grandmother, Queen Margrethe.

He noted that while he aims to maintain a “red thread” by following their examples, he avoids copying them entirely to ensure he develops his own individual identity. He added that much of the advice he receives from his family consists of general principles, such as behaving properly, which he believes is useful for anyone.
