Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosts Eid al‑Adha reception for military and security leaders at Muna Palace
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman presided over the annual Eid al‑Adha reception at the Qasr al‑Muna palace in Mecca. He welcomed more than 60 princes, ministers, governors and senior officers from the kingdom’s military and security sectors, as well as other officials involved in the organization of the Hajj. In his speech the Crown Prince praised Saudi custodianship of the holy sites, thanked the forces protecting pilgrims, and wished Muslims worldwide a blessed holiday, invoking the nation’s ongoing commitment to security amid regional tensions.
The gathering included senior figures such as the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Sports, the Governor of Jeddah, the Governor of Taif and the head of the Hajj security committee, underscoring the importance placed on safeguarding the pilgrimage and the kingdom’s religious duties.
