Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan opens 17th El Jadida Horse Show

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over the opening of the 17th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park on Monday, October 12, 2026. Held under the theme ‘The Horse in the Service of Humanity’ and under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, the event is scheduled to run until October 18.

The exhibition aims to support the sustainable development of Morocco’s equestrian sector, ranging from breeding to international competitions. The opening ceremony included a review of the Royal Guard and was attended by various Moroccan officials and international dignitaries, including ambassadors from Türkiye, Oman, and representatives from the United Arab Emirates.

During the event, the Crown Prince toured various exhibition areas dedicated to breeders, handicrafts, and regional culture. He also visited the ‘Faris Traveling Across Morocco’ children’s village, an interactive space designed to introduce younger generations to the nation’s equestrian heritage. The program features equestrian vaulting, artistic performances, and Tbourida (fantasia) displays by troupes from across the Kingdom.
