CROWNSHIFT announces new album 'The Shadows We Buried

Finnish modern metal band CROWNSHIFT has announced that their second studio album, ‘The Shadows We Buried’, is scheduled for worldwide release on January 29, 2027, via Nuclear Blast.

To mark the announcement, the group released a new single titled ‘In The Dead Of Night’, accompanied by an official music video. The upcoming record is described as an evolution of the band's sound, blending melodic death metal riffs with progressive elements and cinematic atmospheres.

The band features musicians with histories in prominent acts such as Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Wintersun, and Finntroll. Following the departure of bassist Jukka Koskinen in June, Kevin Apostol has joined the lineup.
