Norwegian Cruise Line raises 2026 profit outlook following strong Q3 results

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has raised its full-year 2026 adjusted net profit forecast to approximately 789 million dollars, up from previous estimates of 700 million dollars. This adjustment follows third-quarter results that exceeded expectations, with the company reporting a net income of approximately 514 million dollars on revenues of 2.95 billion dollars.

The company reported a passenger occupancy rate of 106.5%, driven by strong demand and increased onboard spending, which helped offset challenges in ticket revenue and cruise yields. NCLH has identified over 600 million dollars in recurring savings through efficiency initiatives.

Despite the positive momentum in its turnaround strategy, the company faces ongoing challenges including substantial debt, pricing pressures, and potential impacts from delayed ship deliveries and itinerary cancellations in the fourth quarter.
