Holland America Line rolls out year‑round Mediterranean cruises

Holland America Line announced that, beginning in the 2027/2028 season, it will operate cruises in Europe throughout the entire year. The program is designed to take passengers to lesser‑known Mediterranean destinations, featuring hidden beaches such as Puerto Naos in the Canary Islands, Cala Violina on the Tuscan coast, the bay of Baratti in Liguria, Plavi Horizonti near Kotor in Montenegro, and Akvaryum near Kuşadası in Turkey.

The itineraries range from week‑long trips to month‑long voyages, linking ports in Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. By offering daily departures, the line aims to attract travelers seeking quieter, nature‑focused stops while supporting local tourism economies across the region.
