Cruise lines Seabourn and AIDA announce 2028 itineraries

Major cruise lines Seabourn and AIDA Cruises have announced expanded itineraries and shore excursions for the 2028 season, focusing on the Caribbean and North Atlantic regions.

Seabourn has detailed its 2028-2029 Caribbean programs, which emphasize cultural and historical connections through UNESCO World Heritage sites. Planned experiences include visiting the Nelson Shipyard in Antigua, Brimstone Hill Fortress in St. Kitts, and the Pitons in St. Lucia. The program also features historical tours in Barbados and excursions in Curacao.

AIDA Cruises is introducing new long-distance routes for its ship, AIDAluna, in early 2028. The company will offer 18-day voyages connecting the Caribbean to Northern Europe. One route departs from La Romana, Dominican Republic, traveling through Jamaica and the US Gulf Coast—including New Orleans, Tampa, and Miami—before ending in New York. A subsequent voyage will carry passengers from New York to Kiel, Germany, via stops in Newport, Boston, Halifax, and Reykjavík.
