Crunch Time Apple Growers expects large SnapDragon apple harvest for 2026

Crunch Time Apple Growers reports a strong outlook for the 2026 SnapDragon apple season, following an 18 percent increase in sales last year. Harvesting is currently underway in New York, with growers expecting one of their largest yields to date due to favorable weather conditions, including timely rainfall and seasonal temperature fluctuations.

The marketing cooperative is expanding its grower network into Pennsylvania and other regions to shorten logistics for major metropolitan markets. To support increased volume, the company has also refined its packing protocols to maintain fruit crispness and post-harvest quality.

SnapDragon will be featured at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, Florida. The event will serve as a platform for the brand to engage with retail buyers and distribution partners through product sampling and brand demonstrations.
