Crunchyroll announces NYCC 2026 lineup and anime season updates

Crunchyroll has announced its programming lineup for New York Comic Con 2026, featuring nine panels for titles such as ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ and ‘Black Clover’, alongside new series like ‘Sentenced to be a Hero’.

Several anime series have provided updates regarding upcoming seasons. ‘Marriagetoxin’ is scheduled for a Season 2 release in January 2027, with production continuing under director Motonobu Hori at Bones Film. The horror series ‘Dark Gathering’ has also confirmed a second season for 2027.

Regarding current programming, ‘Tomb Raider King’ is set to conclude its first season on September 24, 2026, with English dub episodes finishing by October 8. Additionally, the series ‘Gachiakuta’ will implement a character design update for the character Enjin in future merchandise to better reflect the original manga, though the upcoming second season will retain the original animation designs due to production timelines.
