Crunchyroll Announces Season 2 of 'Elusive Samurai' Anime for July 2026

Crunchyroll will release the second season of the samurai anime "Elusive Samurai" on 17 July 2026. The series, set during the Kenmu Restoration era, follows the heir Tokiyuki Hojo, whose talent for evading attacks made the first season popular.

The first season debuted in summer 2024 and was praised for its animation by CloverWorks and its blend of comedy, action, and drama. A trailer for season 2 suggests that several story arcs from the manga will be concluded in the new episodes.
