Crunchyroll announces third season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles

Streaming service Crunchyroll has secured the license for the third season of the anime series ‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’. The new season is scheduled to premiere in January 2027 via simulcast.

This installment will adapt the ‘Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc’ from the original manga by Hajime Komoto. Production is being handled by studio A-1 Pictures, with Tomoya Tanaka directing, Yousuke Kuroda on the screenplay, and Hisashi Higashijima managing character design.

The series follows Mash Burnedead, a protagonist living in a world of magic who possesses no magical abilities, relying instead on intense physical training and raw strength to navigate a magic academy.
