Crunchyroll expands PlayStation subscriptions to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand
Crunchyroll has launched direct subscription options for its anime streaming service via PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Users can now manage their memberships through the PlayStation Store and PlayStation Media Hub.
In Malaysia, the Mega Fan tier is available for RM14.90 per month, offering ad-free viewing, offline downloads, and simultaneous streaming on up to four devices. This tier also includes access to the Crunchyroll Game Vault, which features over 100 anime-inspired mobile games. In Indonesia, subscription options include a Fan package for Rp39,000 per month and a Mega Fan package for Rp49,000 per month.
To access the service, users must download the Crunchyroll app from the PlayStation Store. Subscriptions are processed through the PlayStation Wallet. The integration allows users to link existing Crunchyroll accounts or create new ones during the setup process.
