Crunchyroll streams ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ film “Tears of the Azure Sea”

The new feature‑length film “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Azure Sea” is now available on Crunchyroll, the global anime streaming service. The movie, released in cinemas in April, follows Rimuru and his companions after the opening ceremony of the Demon Kingdom Federation Tempest, when they are invited by Celestial Emperor Elmesia of the elven nation Thalion to her private resort island. Their vacation is interrupted by the arrival of a mysterious woman named Yura, leading to a new incident set against an endless blue sea.

The film runs as a side‑story parallel to the events of season 3 of the series, with season 4 already streaming on the platform. It is directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi, co‑written with Toshizo Nemoto, and animated by Eightbit. Viewers can watch it in the original Japanese with subtitles or in dubbed versions, including English and Italian.
