Crunchyroll to debut PSYREN anime on platform in October 2026
Crunchyroll announced at its Japan Expo 2026 panel that the manga series PSYREN will receive an anime adaptation that will launch on the streaming service in October 2026. The adaptation follows high‑schooler Ageha Yoshina, who is drawn into a dangerous alternate world after picking up a mysterious red phone card. Production details include direction by Katsumi Ono, a screenplay by Shin Yoshida, and music by Takashi Ōmama, Tatsuhiko Saiki and Shū Kanematsu, with animation by Satelight.
The series will be available worldwide on Crunchyroll, expanding the platform’s lineup of upcoming anime releases for the fall season.
