Dragon Ball Super: Beerus to stream on Crunchyroll starting October 11

Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have announced that the anime series ‘Dragon Ball Super: Beerus’ will begin streaming on October 11, 2026. This production is an enhanced retelling of the iconic arc involving the arrival of Beerus, the God of Destruction, and his encounter with Goku.

Unlike a standard re-release, this version features updated animation, new visual effects, and previously unseen sequences designed to align more closely with Akira Toriyama’s original manga vision. The series will be available via simulcast with subtitles in various regions, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and India.

In addition to the streaming announcement, Bandai has revealed plans to produce a new S.H. Figuarts Beerus figure, which is expected to be showcased at the New York Comic Con 2026. The anime's premiere is also expected to be a featured event at the convention, including a screening of the first episode.
