Cruz Azul Femenil dismisses coach Raúl Gutiérrez amid controversy

Cruz Azul Femenil has announced the departure of head coach Raúl Gutiérrez. The decision follows controversy after Gutiérrez attended a celebration for the 110th anniversary of Club América, a major rival of Cruz Azul, and was photographed wearing an América jersey. The club's management reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the incident, noting that they had not been notified of his attendance at the event. The club stated that the separation was by mutual agreement, citing a complex context for the development of the project.

In related club news, goalkeeper Sebastián Jurado, currently playing for Bravos de Juárez, addressed social media rumors regarding his relationship with Cruz Azul. Following a post that falsely claimed he held resentment toward the institution, Jurado clarified that he does not hate the club and remains grateful for his time there. He emphasized his respect for the institution, its fans, and the staff.
