Cruz Azul midfielder José Paradela faces injury doubt before Pumas match

Cruz Azul faces uncertainty ahead of their upcoming match against Pumas following physical concerns regarding midfielder José Paradela. Paradela experienced discomfort during a friendly match against LA Galaxy in the United States, which initially raised fears of a potential muscle tear.

Recent reports suggest the issue may be a muscle pull rather than a severe tear, though his exact condition remains under evaluation. The club is monitoring his progress closely to determine if he can participate in the resumption of the Apertura tournament.

In addition to Paradela, the team is managing the rehabilitation of Carlos Rotondi and Amaury García. The potential absence of Paradela, a key offensive playmaker with five assists this season, would require significant tactical adjustments for the squad as they look to improve their current standing in the competition.
