Cruz Azul returns to Ciudad Cooperativa Hidalgo for training

Cruz Azul returned to the Estadio Refundación in Ciudad Cooperativa Hidalgo for a special training session ahead of their upcoming match against Querétaro. The event served as a homecoming to the location where the club’s history began, allowing players and staff to connect closely with the local community and workers.

Fans gathered early to cheer on the squad, with players such as Andrés Gudiño, Kevin Mier, Gabriel Fernández, and Carlos Rotondi receiving significant ovations. Following the ninety-minute practice, several players interacted with supporters by providing autographs and photographs. The club also hosted students from the Colegios Cruz Azul, providing them an opportunity to meet the professional athletes.

Club President Víctor Velázquez Rangel was in attendance to observe the session, which also included a warm reception for technical director Joel Huiqui.
