Cruz Beckham admits nerves before Lollapalooza performance in Chicago

Cruz Beckham, the 21‑year‑old son of David and Victoria Beckham, performed with his band The Breakers at Lollapalooza in Chicago. In behind‑the‑scenes footage he revealed that a phone call with his parents just before the show made him "almost start crying" as he grappled with nerves and the fact that the festival crowd was not there specifically for his act.

He said he felt grateful for the opportunity and wanted to give the best show possible. The Beckhams were on holiday in the South of France at the time and did not attend the concert. During the same period Cruz released the new track "Seeing Red" from his forthcoming debut EP Wear & Tear, and announced upcoming UK dates in Norwich, Sheffield, Reading and Leeds.
