Cruz Pérez Cuéllar questions Chihuahua prosecutor appointment

Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, an aspirant for the Coordination of the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, has questioned the Chihuahua governor's intention to appoint a prosecutor intended to serve for the next eight years. Pérez Cuéllar suggested the move is an attempt to secure political protection before leaving office.

He called upon the State Congress to establish an Open Parliament to discuss the autonomy and scope of the Prosecutor's Office, emphasizing that the public deserves transparency regarding security responsibilities. He also urged Morena deputies to act with responsibility, noting that these political decisions will have long-term consequences for the state.
