Cruz Roja Mexicana holds nationwide charity race

The Cruz Roja Mexicana organized the seventh edition of the “Todo México Salvando Vidas” charity race, which saw participation from over 50,000 people across 32 states and 40 locations. In Mexico City, approximately 5,300 runners gathered at Paseo de la Reforma to support the institution. The event featured 3km walks, 5km, and 10km races, with proceeds intended to fund emergency services, ambulances, and the training of thousands of first responders.

Regional editions of the race also took place, including events in San Luis Potosí, Los Cabos, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, and Lázaro Cárdenas. These local races aimed to strengthen humanitarian services and promote healthy lifestyles. In addition to the sporting events, various regional activities focused on civil protection and emergency preparedness, such as fire prevention workshops and evacuation drills conducted by local authorities and legislative bodies in Sinaloa.

In Los Cabos, authorities temporarily closed emergency shelters due to weather monitoring, while simultaneously supporting the Cruz Roja race to ensure community safety and social solidarity during the weekend's activities.
