Cruzeiro midfielder Christian transfers to Russian club Krasnodar

Cruzeiro confirmed the sale of midfielder Christian to FC Krasnodar, ending his spell at the Brazilian club where he was the season's second‑top scorer with eight goals. Christian traveled to Russia to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract, finalising the move that had been negotiated since June.

The club also announced the arrivals of Gabriel Rojas from Racing and Gabriel Pec, a former Vasco player who last played for Los Angeles Galaxy, to bolster the squad after the departures of Christian and fellow youngster Kaiki Bruno, who moved to Italy's Como.

Details of the transfer fee and contract length with Krasnodar were not disclosed.
