Cruzeiro seeks to hire Mirassol executive Paulinho

Cruzeiro is pursuing Paulinho, the current executive director of Mirassol, to strengthen its football department. The club views him as a primary candidate for a technical coordinator role to bridge the gap between the squad, coaching staff, and board.

While Cruzeiro vice-president Pedro Junio has confirmed interest in the professional, Paulinho has maintained a cautious stance. In recent interviews, he stated he is focused on Mirassol’s current campaign and noted that while "speculations, conversations, they will happen," he remains committed to his current duties.

A potential obstacle to the deal is the timeline. Cruzeiro seeks an immediate arrival to assist with next season's planning, but Paulinho is currently tied to Mirassol and would likely only be available to start in approximately one month.
