Crvena zvezda launches documentary series on club legends

FK Crvena zvezda has launched a new documentary series titled ‘Kad se Zvezda voli’, dedicated to the club’s most prominent historical figures. The inaugural episode focuses on the life and career of legendary dribbler Miloš Šestić.

The episode highlights Šestić’s significant health struggles, specifically his heart transplant which took place over two years ago. Former teammates Zdravko Borovnica and Nedeljko Milosavljević provide personal accounts of the sudden nature of the procedure. Borovnica, who is Šestić’s godfather, recounted how Šestić informed him of the donor availability and his immediate departure for the hospital.

Milosavljević noted Šestić’s calm demeanor when discussing the upcoming surgery. The documentary also touches upon Šestić’s previous medical history, including issues with his abdominal aorta and bypass surgeries, framing his recovery and new heart as a significant personal triumph.
