Crvena zvezda negotiating transfer for Bologna winger Karlsson

Red Star Belgrade (Crvena zvezda) is reportedly in negotiations to sign Swedish winger Karlsson, a player currently under contract with Bologna. The 28-year-old attacker, who joined the Italian club from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for approximately 11.15 million euros, has struggled to secure a regular spot in the Serie A side, appearing in only 15 matches with one goal.

Karlsson has spent recent periods on loan at Lecce, Aberdeen, and Utrecht in an attempt to regain the form he displayed in the Netherlands. While Red Star seeks to bolster its attacking options alongside Mirko Ivanić and Kristijan Balov, the deal remains in the negotiation phase. Karlsson is also reportedly being monitored by the Turkish club Samsunspor.
