The team secured a win against Primar Ko and a decisive victory over Požarevac. Despite a single loss by Filip Radović against Bot Oliver, the defending champions remain favorites, though Železničar Niš is noted as a strong competitor for the title.

In basketball, Crvena zvezda suffered a 77-83 defeat against Žalgiris in their EuroLeague season opener. Following the match, guard Jared Butler offered a reassuring message to fans, stating he is not overly concerned and believes the team has the necessary talent once the 'pieces of the puzzle' come together.
