Crypto Scammer Bastille (William Edmund Bateman) Doxxed Over Abuse and Fraud Claims

An anonymous X user known as “Slippage” publicly disclosed the real identity of crypto meme‑token promoter Bastille, whose legal name is William Edmund Bateman. In a lengthy thread, Slippage accused Bateman of emotional manipulation, financial exploitation, and sexual assault, alleging that he kept up to 85 % of profits from joint token launches and repeatedly denied responsibility for shared expenses.

Slippage also detailed a severe car accident in Norway that left them with six spinal fractures, a lung contusion, and a concussion. Although Bateman promised to contribute to the roughly €6,000 (€50,000 total) medical bills, the promises were not fulfilled, prompting the doxxing as “balance to the universe.” The allegations have attracted over 1.5 million views within the crypto community, prompting widespread discussion but no public response from Bateman.
