Crypto.com and OG.com launch regulated crypto perpetuals in US

Crypto.com and OG.com have introduced regulated crypto perpetual futures contracts for eligible traders in the United States. The new products offer up to 5x leverage, allowing users to control larger positions with smaller margins.

Retail customers can access these contracts through the Crypto.com app, while advanced and institutional traders can utilize the Crypto.com Exchange platform. The launch is supported by North American Derivatives Exchange, a Crypto.com affiliate registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as an exchange and clearing organization. Additionally, Foris DAX Inc. serves as the NFA-registered introducing broker.

Perpetual futures do not have an expiry date; instead, payments between long and short traders maintain price alignment with the spot market. Crypto.com settles these contracts three times daily. While trading and liquidation fees are waived during the initial launch period, funding payments still apply. The companies aim to provide market flexibility and compete with offshore exchanges that currently dominate the perpetual futures market.
