Cryptocurrency holder TLBL loses $26 million in second major hack

A major cryptocurrency holder known as TLBL has been targeted in a second significant theft, losing over $26 million. According to blockchain analysis platform Lookonchain, a hacker gained access to three wallets, likely by compromising the owner's private key.

Security firm PeckShield estimated the loss at approximately $25.6 million. The stolen assets included various tokens and coins, such as aWBTC, DAI, Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and Ethereum (ETH). Following the theft, the attacker began swapping tokens, converting portions of the loot into DAI and Ethereum across multiple addresses.

This incident marks the second major loss for TLBL; two years ago, the owner lost approximately $24 million in a phishing attack, bringing the total losses from both incidents to over $50 million.
