Cryptocurrency investor Ye Junde found dead in Paraguay

A prominent cryptocurrency investor, identified as Ye Junde (also known as Yip Chun-tak or Harry Chun Tak Yeh), was found dead after falling from the 30th floor of a luxury apartment building in Asunción, Paraguay.

Police responded to the scene around 4:30 AM on August 7, discovering the victim's body outside the building. Investigators found the victim's 30th-floor apartment in a state of significant disarray with the door left open. Authorities also inspected a 27th-floor apartment belonging to the victim's girlfriend, a 29-year-old Brazilian woman named Isadora de Proença, though she claimed no knowledge of the incident.

The investigation is currently exploring multiple possibilities, including accident, suicide, or foul play. While initial forensic results indicated no signs of struggle on the body, the condition of the apartment and the victim's substantial wealth, estimated at over $2 billion, have raised further questions. Both apartments have been cordoned off as investigators collect physical evidence for the prosecutor's office.
