Cryptocurrency mining facility seized in Nusaybin, Turkey

Police in the Nusaybin district of Mardin, Turkey, uncovered a cryptocurrency mining operation utilizing stolen electricity. Following a raid on a building's basement, technical teams from Dicle Elektrik determined that the high-consumption devices were being powered through an illegal external line.

Initial assessments by Dicle Elektrik indicate that the amount of electricity stolen by the facility is equivalent to the monthly consumption of approximately 200 households. Authorities have seized the mining equipment used in the operation, and legal proceedings regarding the illegal electricity usage have been initiated.
