Cryptocurrency updates: Binance maintenance and Arbitrum expansion

The cryptocurrency sector is seeing several significant developments involving major exchanges and networks. Binance has announced a temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals on the Ethereum network scheduled for August 27 to facilitate wallet maintenance. While trading will remain unaffected, the maintenance is expected to last approximately one hour.

Additionally, Binance will delist three altcoins—ICON (ICX), Secret (SCRT), and Storj (STORJ)—on September 3 following a review of criteria including liquidity, trading volume, and network stability. Following the announcement, some of these assets, such as SCRT, have experienced significant price declines.

In other developments, Arbitrum is expanding into the real-world asset market by introducing tokenized U.S. stocks to its network, providing blockchain-based access to traditional equities. Meanwhile, Pi Network is updating its App Studio pricing structure on August 24, shifting costs to more closely reflect the actual expense of AI services used in application development.
