Cryptocurrency whales execute large transfers following inflation data
Significant cryptocurrency market activity has been observed following recent inflation data. A Fireblocks-linked custody wallet transferred approximately $19.4 million in USD1 stablecoins to Binance within a single hour. Over a 13-day period, this same wallet has moved a total of roughly $149.8 million in USD1 to the exchange.
In other notable movements, a crypto whale that had been inactive for 119 days withdrew 116,490 HYPE tokens, valued at approximately $9.6 million, from OKX. This sudden activity has drawn attention to potential new market positioning.
Chainlink (LINK) is also seeing heavy accumulation. Grayscale’s GLNK ETF purchased 203,810 LINK, worth about $2.38 million, via Coinbase Prime, bringing its 18-day accumulation to 1.05 million LINK. Simultaneously, Chainlink added 91,100 LINK to its strategic reserve. The project’s total strategic reserve has now grown to approximately 5.86 million LINK, valued at $67.24 million.
