Crysencio Summerville faces salary cut at Al-Hilal

Al-Hilal player Crysencio Summerville has faced significant financial and disciplinary consequences following an altercation during an AFC Champions League match against Al-Gharafa. The Dutch international received a three-match suspension and a $2,000 fine from the Asian Football Confederation after receiving a red card in the 33rd minute following a clash with Ismael Bennacer.

In response to the incident, Al-Hilal reportedly reduced Summerville’s monthly salary by 700,000 euros. His estimated monthly earnings were approximately 1.4 million euros based on an annual salary of 17 million euros. This disciplinary action follows a precedent set by the club when they halved the salary of defender Kalidou Koulibaly following a red card in a King's Cup final.

Despite these disciplinary issues, Summerville has contributed to Al-Hilal’s performance on the pitch. In a recent Saudi Pro League match against Ittihad Club, Summerville scored a goal to help secure a 3-2 victory, placing Al-Hilal at the top of the league standings.
