Crystal Dynamics Unveils Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Launch Details

Crystal Dynamics announced details for its upcoming remake, *Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis*, slated for release on 12 February 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The studio said the game will fuse elements of the series' Classic, Legend and Survivor eras, restoring Lara Croft’s iconic blue tank‑top, shorts and dual pistols while retaining personality traits from the more recent reboot trilogy.

During a Summer Game Fest interview, Game Director Raul Siqueira and Experience Director Jeff Adams stressed that the redesign was not driven by any cultural or political agenda. They emphasized portraying Lara as confident, humorous and resilient, noting that voice‑actress Alix Wilton Regan captures the character’s authenticity. Pre‑orders are now live, and the developers aim to deliver the most complete representation of Lara Croft to fans worldwide.
