Crystal Lake announces PK as new vocalist

Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake has officially announced PK, formerly of the band Prompts, as their new vocalist. This appointment follows a period of transition for the Tokyo-based group since the departure of Ryo Kinoshita in October 2022.

PK, who was born and raised in South Korea before moving to Japan, expressed a sense of responsibility and pressure regarding the new role. He stated his intention to respect the band’s established legacy while contributing his own unique musical perspective to the group.

To mark this new era, the band has released new artist photography and announced the ‘TRUE NORTH FESTIVAL 2026’, scheduled for November 22, 2026, at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo. Pre-sale tickets for the festival began on August 21.
