Crystal Palace Near $15 Million Deal for USWinger Zavier Gozo

Crystal Palace are in advanced talks to sign 19‑year‑old American winger Zavier Gozo from MLS side Real Salt Lake. The fee is expected to be around $15 million (about £11.1 million). Gozo, who also holds Ivorian citizenship, recorded six goals and four assists in 16 appearances this season after a breakout 2025 campaign that saw him make 31 appearances and contribute seven goals overall.

The move would give the newly appointed Palace manager Pierre Sage a potent attacking option before the summer transfer window closes. Real Salt Lake have Gozo under contract until December 2027, and while clubs such as Aston Villa and Atlético Madrid were linked to the player, Palace are currently the favourites to complete the transfer, which would see the USMNT star join a growing contingent of American players in the Premier League.
