Crystal Palace players Kamada and Tomiyasu receive high performance rankings

Crystal Palace players Daichi Kamada and Takehiro Tomiyasu have received high marks in a performance ranking published by The Athletic. The rankings, based on statistical contributions and overall match impact under manager Pierre Sage, placed Kamada third and Tomiyasu fourth.

Kamada has been utilized primarily as an attacking midfielder and has been praised for his technical ability, including a notable goal against Middlesbrough and two assists against Ipswich Town. Tomiyasu was recognized as the most consistent performer among the club's center-backs during his first four Premier League matches, though the report noted concerns regarding his recurring minor injuries.

The top two spots in the ranking were occupied by midfielder Quentin Timber and defender Tyrique Mitchell.
