Crystal Palace signs Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise

Crystal Palace has completed the signing of Israeli winger Anan Khalaili from the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise. The 21-year-old has signed a contract with the Premier League side that runs until the summer of 2031.

The transfer is valued at approximately £21 million (€24.5 million). Khalaili’s move to England follows a failed attempt to join Inter Milan earlier this summer. Inter president Giuseppe Marotta previously stated that the Italian club could not finalize the deal because Khalaili did not receive the necessary medical clearance required by strict Italian health legislation.

Khalaili, who has earned 16 caps for the Israel national team, is a versatile player capable of playing as a right-sided winger or a full-back. He joins several other summer signings at Crystal Palace, including Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Dwight McNeil.
